Tips.
Always write from a third person's perspective, never use "I" or "we" unless it's in a quote. If you can say it in two pages, great. If you can say it in one page, better. Make the title short (no more than 120 characters including spaces) and attention grabbing, sum up your news. Include what the press release is about, who cares; why you should care; where you can find it; when it will happen. Most importantly include a company contact name, email, website, phone number.
