Well I’ve read the pointers on the subject of the new facebook timeline layout, I am a bit reluctant yet willing to hop on the whole idea.

I’m hoping I won’t have any regrets in the not-so-distant future, the idea sounds pretty cool for now.

    Thanks

Thank you for the very informative article. I hadn’t checked my privacy settings again. I like the large image on the pages, and the links for people to easily sign up for e-mail newsletters, etc., but here’s what I don’t like about the new Facebook Timeline: You need to click on the tiny blue box: “See More Recent Stories,” (see screen shot of the graphic), or many recent posts will be hidden. Does anyone have a workaround so that people can scroll and see all of my recent posts without having to click on that button? I’d like to be able to show the last 50 posts for example before it cuts them off. Here’s my post on the topic: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150639660374632&set=a.10150162097584632.305250.308337194631&type=1

    Thanks, Andrew!

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen a way to adjust the number of posts that are displayed before the “See More Recent Stories” button. For now, it seems that there are some things on Facebook that just can’t be customized.

I’m not sure if it’s helpful to what you’re trying to accomplish, but just in case, there IS a way to publish completely customized content on additional tabs using 3rd party apps. For example, the “Meet Our Team” and “View Our Products” tabs at http://www.facebook.com/insurancejournal were set up using the iFrame Host app (https://www.facebook.com/iframehost).
