Our NY government is a bunch of liars and ****ing criminals. They are rubbing people of their hard earned money covering themselves by that stupid law. It is complete rip-off. Why should I pay state taxes from the full car cost? Example, you are leasing Cady STS trough GMAC for 27 month. The monthly payment is 450, so in 27 month you will pay almost 13000. Before, this amount was getting taxed, which is fine. But now they are giving you a bill of sale for 65000 and the title. Now you have to pay taxes from 65000!!!!!!!!!! But do not forget that car still not yours, you have to return it back in 27 month. So the government knows that the car was not bought (and it does not belongs to you) for 65000 and taxing you anyway. It is government-subsidized fraud!!!!!!
