I have read countless articles about a legal system supposedly running amok (penned largely by those whose profits are effected by litigation) but I have yet to see one example cited of an "outrageous verdicts and aberrational awards" other than anecdotes. I would love for someone to forward me a citation to an actual case (let alone these "hundreds" of such cases claimed to be common in the legal system) that provides an example of the legal system run amok. If anyone happens to find such a case, please forward to my email address.
