Good points made in article. However, most "recall" polices I have seen require a government ordered recall, not the situation cited above where the "recall" was "recommended" or "voluntary." Also, the situation with spinach would have had many farmers thinkng they had coverage for the product they plowed under during the period when spinach was off the market.
