My ex-husband purchased a used vehicle for our 17 yr old son. It was liscensed and titled in My ex husband's name. He assured us that he purchased liability insurance on the vehicle. We live in Illinois. My son was involved in an accident approx 3 weeks later that injured his passenger. We were deceived as we then found out that the vehicle was uninsured. My son was ticketed for no insurance. Who will be held responsible for restitution to the injured passenger?
