I find it interesting that it was not mentioned in this article or before the laws changed that although auto insurance MAY come down, we were NOT told that we would not have the same coverage as we did before the law change! Therefore if we wanted to same coverage we had before, we would have to purchase MORE auto insurance so that someone would not take our homes and anything else they wanted to try and get after an auto accident! YES you can be sued if you cause an accident and that person you hit can come after you for everything you own! There should have been a compromise of some kind!
