This 10 point evaluation was a nothing but a quick look at the joke that is Saif corp, but the door was quickly closed and the obvious swept under the rug. Saif drives it's costs down by declining injured workers compensation for valid injuries. Yet they spend more money paying off Doctors to overlook and pretend someone is not hurt. I have heard it all when it comes to Saif's contracted "Indipendent Medical Evaluations" from their doctors who are in practice solely for this purpose. These doctors are clearly paid to say what Saif needs them to say. I spoke with a physician who told me he was under pressure from Saif to agree with the IME's. Since he runs a occupational health clinic I can imagine where his paycheck comes from so he will keep lining his own pockets. This is a huge issue of corruption from the top down. When this issue was placed before voters in 2005 there was not enough education to the public as to what the measure was. I would ask people how they are voting, people would reply with worry, that if they voted to end Saif they thought they were ending workers comp coverave alltogether. That was how uninformed the public was, many are not even aware there are other options, or what the measure was even about. We need to have an outside investigation done on Saif, all we did was ask them to evluate itself. How productive could that me? They are not likely to incrmminate themselves. I wish someone would take another look at this joke we call an insurance compandy.
