Least expensive, most comprehensive. Still the cost is prohibitive. $850/mo. In order to qualify for Healthy NY you have to be below poverty level and not be getting any other aid and have been without health insurance for a year. It's ********, plain and simple. Unfortunately, this country punishes folks who are self employed. I've been going thru this for 20 some odd years. Oh - I forgot the most important thing. I got the health insurance through the USFSB US Federation of Small Businesses. They basically are an insurance buying group based out of upstate new york. There are lots of groups you can join - check out suzuki violin group - they offer medical insurance and you don't have to be a violin teacher or player.
