What a terrible shame for this to happen to a company with such a storied history. As an outsider who worked for some of this mnmgnt team with another carrier (which is no longer), I would assume that much of it's demise was due to poor management as was stated earlier. I'm guessing the officers jumped ship a few months ago. My question is, who would hire these folks after running company after company into the ground?
