Please note that the effective date for the change in when rates become effective will not change until 2007. See the following:

Transitional Procedures. Section 2. of the H-4675 establishes an effective date for the legislation of April 2007 for auto policies issued on and after this date. It also provides that the rate decision applicable to auto policies issued on and after January 1, 2006 will continue to apply to policies issued through March 31, 2007. This transition provides sufficient lead time to allow parties to prepare for the new effective date.
