Larry Ziegler must be Allied's marketing rep. You want to know the truth about Allied, contact one of their former employees or speak with a current one over a couple of cocktails. Truth is they used to be a good, solid carrier prior to becoming Nationwide. Now they are a stock company solely concerned about squeezing every penny out of their customers and agents on the commissions and claims ends. Take a look at the local employee turn over in the offices, the constant changes in underwritters, and their 51% positive rating by their own employees in the 08 annual survey of "Is the company management taking us in the right direction?" Truth be told management is in it only for themselves short term, with their hidden bonus programs. This company is a class action waiting to happen based on their sole reliance on their 3rd party estimating software vs. local pricing. One must ask himself if this is the type of company you want to be associated with and promoting? Surely there are much better options out there like the regionals, which most of these problem companies used to be before they decided to take over the world at their policyholders expense.
