Thank you for being rational!

Where in the constitution or in any law is separation of church and state so specified. It is not. In a democratic republic, like we have here in the USA, the majority of people usually get there way. In twenty years a majority might favor changing the laws of marriage to include the above mentioned group. But at that time, you will not hear me say why does the majority get to control and dictate their morality. I will try to change minds...one by one.
Equality is not everyone being equal. What do I mean? Well we all have equal protection under the law. We do not have guaranteed equal outcomes for our lives. World history has demonstrated that the best way for civilization to survive is with a mother and father as a family unit raising children. This is best, and should be supported. History has also taught that families without a mom or a dad do much worse in general than a 'typical' family. That is not a knock on single moms or single dads. Sometimes life happens and we do the best we can, but let us not lower the standards and put on equal footing gay and lesbian families. Do they love eachother...I am sure they do. But broadening marriage will not improve the institution, it will only water it down.

The law does protect all people. Brothers and sisters cannot marry, although some want to...as a society we have agreed it would not be best. The constitution does not guarantee me or anyone the right to marry. That means the states have the right to make law in this area.

Christian morality has served as a sound underpinning in our great country. Each of us brings our morale compass to work, school, and our jobs. It does not matter that it is in government or in the private sector. I cannot leave who I am or what I believe in a closet, this applies to any religion or morale philosophy. If it is real and I practice it, it cannot stay hidden.
The law always says who is right or wrong. As I mentioned earlier, if marriage is redefined-is it telling me that my belief is wrong. YES!!
