This legislation is long over due and should be expanded toinclude all union members who have a collective bargaining agreement. By doing so, it would make it more attractive to do business with unions because the cost of the workers comp coverage will be substanially reduced.
This would be a win-win both for the employer and the union members because of the reduced cost and the expidited method in which the worker will be treated fairly.
