I don't know where you are, Chris, but here in MD, this is just as ugly as it sounds. You should hear the radio ads. This bill has absolutely NOTHING to do with health insurance for poor oppressed employees and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that the Democratic majority here can't stand the fact that Wal-Mart has successfully resisted the unions, which control almost everything else here. Oddly enough, the unions have been quiet on this one. Also, it doesn't help that Gov. Ehrlich is a Republican.
