Michigan was great while we were there. It's okay in my book. Except for the constant snow. That was a bit of an annoyance. Have you read about the hurricane that made its way to, I believe, Detroit, or the Great Lakes storm that looked and acted very much like a hurricane? No real damage to speak of, but still fascinating.
