Whatever the issue, there is ONE thing that is very tiring and worrisome. I live in a country I thought was based on a principal of "majority rules". But more and more, and then even more, and then still more, various procedures and practices, laws, and administrative actions seem to favor the minority needs over the majority needs.

In the reality of the working world, employers are afraid to discipline inferior workers who fit some minority profile, for fear of being sued. I'm not implying even slightly that minority workers are ALL inferior because that's not true. There are good and bad workers from all races, creeds, nationalities. But if employers make decisions based on who is most likely to be "offended" and sue, rather than merit, we wind up with strange scenarios.

Are we approaching a point where in an effort to make a level playing field for all conceivable minority groups, we have in fact created an impossibly uneven playing field for the majority?
