I know that if I had to work in that environment, I would have asked for something to protect my breathing. I know what it's like to breath paint and thinner fumes. Some people want to believe that they could entrust their safety to others, and then complain when that trust was betrayed. But personally, I know enough to come it out of the rain; I feel sorry for those who are suffering but it defies logic to NOT want to protect oneself, especially at a site with the magnitude of destruction as the WTC collapse....
