i was hurt on the job 11 years ago and will be suffering from these injuries for the rest of my life so why shouldn't wc have to pay for the rest of my life. had i knew that there would be a cap on wc i would have protected my future with added insurance in the event i should get hurt. you shouldn't cap people that are already injured but cap future injuries. this way workers can protect themselves with additional coverage before they get hurt. now on top of my injuries i have to deal with the fact i may have to move out of my rental and onto the streets. i beg you gov spitzer, do not futher hurt the already injured.
