What do illegal aliens have to do with this? I don't care if there is a two tier system or if illegals simply don't get a license. I, if I want to use something besides my passport, will need the national id with all it's potential for theft id if I want to get on a plane or go in a federal courthouse.That is what counts to me. The fact that I may be forced to get what I would call the "1984 Big Brother" driver ID. That and the fact that no one has shown that this idea would have prevented 9-11.
