Problem with stats is people make them up so they can make there point plus people lie when they get into accidents they say they were wearing there selt belt to look good in case they get sued. so you cant go by police reports and nurses in hospitals only see the people who get hurt but never talk about the ones who get hurt that were wearing selt belts. I work with sales and even if you dont make up stats you only show people the ones you wont them to see and act like the other ones dont exist. here are some true stats I have been in 8 accidents in my life none of which were my fault I never wear my selt belt and i was only hurt once (concusion, bruising) when I got hit from the left side and the door crushed in i was pushed from the drivers seat into the passenger seat good thing because the car that hit me was sitting on the drivers seat so 1 out of 8 accidents i got hurt but it could have been 1 out of 8 killed me
