The primary enforcement of seatbelt laws is a deprivation of liberty and anybody who fails to see that I do not understand at all. If you see a policeman not wearing his seatbelt, there's nothing you can do. If they see you not wearing yours in my state, even for a second, they pull you over, write you a ticket, take your license, (no signature for bond), and send you on your way with the stern warning to "click it" or ticket. Normally law enforcements acts out of its office to protect society. They stop somebody when the are putting others at risk by speeding or committing a moving violation. I hope New Hampshire sticks to its guns. Believe me, in the land of liberty, you don't want road blocks enforcing seatbelt laws at all hours. Just think Iraq, you too can have the benefits of a free society like roadblocks to force you to wear your seatbelt. It is the sign of a police state, make no mistake.
