Doesn't cleaning up after a wreck with a dead body or two cost the government money? Sometimes laws are the only way to get idiots to do the right thing. I'm glad everyone seems to tolerate crotch rockets going 100+ mph. Next time one of those kids' bikes hits the median I hope you aren't too badly injured when the person riding is launched into your car as a 175 lb. projectile. The Fact of the matter is that lunatics driving like maniacs can affect you or someone you care about. What's the problem with cracking down on them?
