Why is it everytime I read about some sort of lawsuit, racism always seems to raise its ugly head. I've read all of these posts and just keep thinking to myself, "how did it come to this?" I will agree that racism is still, unfortunately, alive but part of me feels that it is alive because some people will not let it go. I believe that ignorance exists on both sides, those of the racists and those that are not. We keep talking about personal responsibility and accountability and we have ripped these parents for this very such thing. My question is to those that try to find racism in every situation, when are you going to take personal responsibility and accountability and realize that racism does NOT exist in every situation? So please stop playing it as your trumph card and using it to try and get your way. I have no sympathy for those that do this, life is what you make of it and MORE times than NOT the reasons things don't go right is because you made the wrong decisions. Everyone knows right from wrong and if you choose to ingore this, you must suffer the consequences. So be a true adult about it and take it like one.
