Be careful with the elements you permit carriers to use in calculating premiums. Most of the criteria mentioned are not actuarily proven, but are simply being used by carriers as a means to subjectivly increase rates. No, all of these various criteria are not being utilized and have not been approved in a great many states. Marital status has been an approved criteria for decades.
