An Arizona Supreme Court ruling released Thursday blocks insurance companies from lowering uninsured motorist payments to injured people who have received workers' compensation payments.

The ruling against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance could also affect other cases where insurers cut payments for similar reasons.
