There is no question that brilliant is correct. However in the real world people are prone to all the foibles of being human.

There are those of us in fire protection that have dedicated our lives to saving the lives of others either by physically rescueing them or applying the fire code process to hazards. We do not quantify humans' awareness or mental ability. We consider every living human worthy of saving and consider it a high priviledge to be allowed to do so.
