The Division of Ins website is grossly inaccurate. It tries to give a rate based on limited and fixed criteria. Companies who file multivariant rate structures are shown with the highest rates because the DOI rating tool does not account for any discounts available with these carriers. The find an agent link is comical as it lists producers who happen to have been licensed by these cariers along with agencies - the problem is you cannot update your agency profile - only your producer profile can be updated. Why should the DOI be in the quoting business I ask. They shouldn't. What a mess.
