It's not backwards. As an employer you are supposed to hire only people who are legally allowed to work. Now here is legislation that will enforce this to happen. If you are "snitched" on then there's a reason for the state to get involved. Just like if part of you plate matches or if you fit a description of a criminal the state has the right no has the responsibility to check you out. It doesn't mean that you are guilty of anything until you are proven to be. And as for the guy who is non union worrying about the unions ...well they can drop a line to OSHA or any other of numerous organizations' to accomplish the task of making your life miserable. And the same goes for a lot of other areas such as CPS you can make an anonymous call and rat out anyone with a kid, just as the participants of any nasty child custody battle. This legislation only makes it hard on the people who are breaking the law that includes the illegals who are breaking the law just by being here. My question is why are we as citizens' allowing these illegal's here why are we not standing up????? We as a nation have allowed this to become such a problem and finally the Gov is doing something about it. Personally I think they should just put a 75% tax on money going south of the boarder do away with personal and property tax and increase the tax on all goods and services by an additional 15%. I bet if the illegal's had to pay and had to keep their money here we would not have this problem any more. But for now stop your crying start doing the right thing and send a big thank you to our local officials who have at least made an attempt to do so.
