I don't know how the Florida statute could be interperted this way. It only talks about "condominium property" which is called "common element" in MD. Under the Fl statute, the association only insures "condominium property" and specific items of what would be the unit in MD are excluded. This seems to be exactly what the MD Courts are saying should be done in MD.
