Mike Jones - take your own advice and re-read the article. There is no deductible nor is there a charge for this "gratis" coverage. This is not an altruisic move by Erie as much as it is an attention getter and free marketing. This is better than the "no coverage" auto policies offered before and I'm surprised at the negative comments thus far. Some people would complain if you hung them with new rope.
