it is incontravertable that, if he can not gain and maintain long term sobriety, he will soon reoffend
And, oh yes, about 180 days in the County sneezer to dry out before his 'out patient' treatment begins.
Without the above intervention (or any intervention from what I can tell) he will be back out on the roadways soon enough and, drunk again, might not be so lucky next time
