"...Dunlavey, like Joyce, said he has chronic arm and hand pain from neck and back injuries (from Viet Nam). But Dunlavey, 62, said he has continued to scuba dive, inline skate and even play Thanksgiving football with his teenage relatives _ despite the pain it causes him." So what, he didn't file a claim for "damages" or "benefits" to support his physical activities! I have two discs which cause me tremendous pain but I didn't file for disability benefits; I too continue to golf in spite of it. The issue here is the judge told the insurance company that he was permanently disabled, that he could not perform simple tasks, that he couldn't work. How does one reconcile that with the payments he received to "repair" his broken lifestyle? He's a fraud and his friends know it!
