i agree. why do we need to spend money for them. we have plenty of others who are trying to get work and we did not pay for them to get retrained. why should we here? afterall, if they notice the job might disappear, i'd be looking for a new job instead of the big layoff/cutbacks. how much will the taxpayers keep giving. i think as a nation, we need to put our congressman on notice to stop this ridiculous payout/bailout. some companies are just going to have to go under, no matter how big they are. same thing for the auto industry. what makes the financial side any different for them? most folks were out for greed and the almight dollar and did not plan on anything like this including companies. now some companies are still thriving. it's like me making a bad choice to do right or wrong. same with company decisions. they should be held accountable by their shareholders. we should be doing the same with our congressman.
