We already have this somewhat in place here in California. It's called the "three strikes" law. Only works if you work it. It sounds good, however, some people don't learn from their first mistake or even their second or third, either!

I don't know what makes some people on this board think that they are entitled to drive and drink and drive? Again, it is a priveledge, not a right, to drive. Where were these people's parents when they were growing up? Didn't they see "Red Asphalt" in driver's ed? Why do they have this feeling of entitlement? OK, OK, now I get it! They drink, and drink and drink....and of course they KNOW that they are OK to drive- theya re a walking breathalizer. How can they say it's their "constitutional right" to drive if they are so inebriated? Even if they are not so inebriated, what makes them so sure they can handle a 2,000LB weapon of mass destruction? :) I'm tired of people throwing around the U. S. Constitution as an excuse for their entitlement. As always, it's the "me first" mentality of some of these people.
Again, man's inhumanity against man...
