Based on MADD statistics, the sobers always kill more than the drinkers.
Also, In 2007, MADD claimed 13k innocent victims of drunk drivers died on our roadways.
That's funny, because using the same FARS database MADD uses, over 10,200 of those accidents are SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENTS where a drinking driver or passenger that decided to ride with a drinking driver are killed.
These ARE NOT innocent victims of a drunk driver. Is arresting 1.8m / annually to save 2,000 people a money grab? Again, in all cases where the is a purported innocent victim the driver with the BAC is always deemed responsible for the accident. How many of those 2,000 that died were the sober and at fault? I suspect a few.
