These "bans" aren't worth the paper they're written on. The problem is much larger.....stupid people. Driving an automobile requires 100% of your time. There are to be no distractions to compromise judgment and reaction time. The world got along just fine before cell phones and blackberries. With the exception of emergency workers, medical professionals, law enforcement, and firefighters, nobody has anything that important that a call can't wait until you reach your destination or a rest area. It's just that simple. People are turning into mindless robots who must be entertained and doing something 100% of the time. "multi-tasking" is fine if you're flying a desk, but it has no place behing the wheel of a car.
