I fell ill in Iraq on May 1.2007 and AIG World Source has fought with me tooth and nail. Nine weeks this has been going on.
You say this is a good company? Lots of luck with trying to get them to pay under the Defense Base Act guide lines.
If anyone knows the( DBA ) it states if you are injured or become ill, that is "sick" from being in Iraq or other places on a Logcap III assignment areas they will cover you. " Not true" states AIG in Dallas Texas, "We have the right to reject any claim", "We don't care if the Department of Labor tells us to pay you". Thank you Ms. Weeks in Dallas.
Even if you are medevac on a military life flight from the 332nd in Balad Iraq to Landsthul Regional Medical center in Germany, then after 6 days the Doctors there send you home for medical recovery AIG will let you go broke, loose your lease on your house, your car, they don't care if you able to feed your kids, and a multitude of other problems that fall in your lap. This is something you need at the time when you are trying to recover.
No, AIG World Source, you do not have that right as the insurance company to screw with peoples lives. Your employees show your real colors.
Aid and Defend you Country then get shafted by AIG.
