Here's a question I honestly cannot answer. Given that water expands as it freezes (which is why it floats) and the greatest percentage of floating ice is already underwater; how is it that the melting ice caps will cause the oceans (70% of the worlds surface) to rise 20 feet where it was millions of years ago??
Could the devil in the details be plate tectonics??? Too bad that can't get you elected to political office!
