Bahh. Any Safeco employees or followers recall Mike's oft-quoted claim that Safeco would become a "top 10" insurer within five years, and a "top 5" insurer within another five years, since the larger insurers obtain greater ROE?

Last I saw, after years with Mike, Safeco remains outside of the "top 10".

Growth = Value?
Seems like XL is drinking this Kool-Aid.
