The French don't want to find the black boxes, because they'd show that they still have the vertical stabilizer problem and would have to redesign and retrofit all of their aircraft. Airbus brings tons of money to the EU, especially France. Better get Banacek down there before the batteries run out. The pings are 37.5 khz each second. How could that be mistaken for something else? A human can't hear that high a frequency, so if their sonar is tuned to 37.5 khz, why would the sound they heard be anything else but a black box? I think they detected the ping and were told to stand down by their sociopath higher ups.
