JMA, while I too have been paranoid about Progressive's intentions with the brand, I don't think its possible that they would pull something like what you describe. OUR clients with Drive are with Drive because that's who WE decided to present to them. They have little to no interest in dealing with a direct writer. Progressive would shoot themselves in the foot to try and steal that business - they'd get a small portion of it but permanently lose the rest. Besides, why would they want to take it when they have the agencies taking most all the service calls now?
