Hmmmm. Insurance Guy. No, I never have given any thought about wearing a helmet or body armor. Lets see, other than EVERY DAY. Stop patting yourself on the back for thinking your such a deep thinker. I have no problem wearing those effective items for protection. I also have no problem making sure my motorcycle is mechanically sound, that I am wearing quality boots, and leather adequate for the weather and conditions. I also have 30 plus years and maybe over a million miles of asphalt under my two tires. But by all means you and all your non motorcycling proteges are more qualified than I to know what it takes for me to be safe out there riding. People who think they are smart, and figure they have some insight into whats best for others based on.........well, nothing, make me sick. Its all about money to you people. Money and your simple, safe, secure little lives. Until you need us. US. Most bikers in ABATE are Vets. Those who are not support Vets. We are patriots and freedom fighters and you are the kind of person that praises us and waves a flag when one of us is killed, but calls us idiots and organ donors when you percieve us potenially threatening your pocketbook. Tsk Tsk. Shameful. Folks like you will ruin this country, despite folks like us. Let me lay some perception on you. You have very little idea what this country represents, you have no heart or soul beyond the little safe boundaries you hide in. You are cowards. Powerful cowards I have to grant you. But thats how and why the powerful become powerful. You seek power to control what you fear. Those of us who are not cowards, don't need power or control. We are happy until you step on our toes. You do what you want, we do what we want. Well, if you force our hand, I guess your prepared for the consequences. This whole shebang is not over yet. And before you make some response about how my employment is part of the establishment, let me tell you that is true. However I do not do what I do FOR the establishment. I do what I do for my fellow soldiers, fellow officers, and for YOU. My fellow countrymen. But, hell my LIFE is not worth the possible increase of your insurance bill to you though. Maybe you ought to just protect yourself.
