Subject: So what is the police chief defending?
However, the man was KILLED by another inmate which begs several questions...
Did the alleged murderer have a violent history? If so, why was he allowed to mingle among the non-violent offenders? Where were the guards when this was taking place? Removing a metal rail from a restroom wall is bound to make some noise - first red flag. He took that rail from one location to another - second red flag. Moyle probably yelled or screamed immediately (unless the first blow knocked him unconscious) - third red flag.
The argument shouldn't be whether or not Moyle was wrongfully jailed. It seems to me that his death could have been prevented. Is it possible that certain people are inflating other issues in hopes that no one will pay as much attention to the fact that he probably died because of someone's failure to pay attention?
