The government also said the air was safe to breath at ground zero. We have since found out that it was not. People working at Greensburg need to wear special masks or respirators. The average dust mask will not catch asbestos fibers. The government doesn't want to admit there is asbestos in the air because of the clean up cost and lawsuit potential. It's a shame our government can't give helpful information without becoming liable for the outcome.
