again, here it goes again to the problem that people want money. first of all, did the person whom suing paint the building/room? if so, they shud have known if the paint had lead in it...secondly, if they purchased the property afterwards, they shud have known that possibly had lead in the paint pending on the age of the building...but here again, where was the parents responsibility of telling the kids no to licking the wall....and how did they lick the wall anyways? did they not give the drink or something to the children...i am tired that the general public thinks they have to put blame on everyone else instead of themselves. what happened to being responsible?

it's definately unfair to have the paint companies resolve the issues. the same goes for the government. it behoves the owner of the property to be responsible for the cleanup and removal of the toxic paint. if the bldg is really in bad shape, have the city condemn the bldg...
