Yeah, I'm not sure how that one got snuck through the House, but I have doubts as to if it will get through the Senate, and for once I can agree with the governor with her veto of the helmet law repeal from previous attempts, so hopefully she'll do the same if it gets that far again (and for those that are about to write in and say how she's "in the back pocket of big insurance", she is definitely anything but).

I'm actually very surprised they're even talking about anything but the budget because currently they're trying to repeal the sales tax extention to services that they just passed after a 4 hour shutdown of the government and will probably bring us right back to the brink of a shutdown once again.

I guess it'll be up to the local and county police to try to enforce this helmet law if the state government shuts down and takes most of the state police off the roads.
