Let me just say this: their punishment is being in prison, that is all; making anyone suffer anything other than the loss of their ability to move about freely in society, even the most heinous criminal, goes beyond what is contemplated in the sentencing laws....now if they want redress, then next time sentence especially vile people to the Chilicothe prison, where they will not only forfeit their personal freedom but also expose themselves to asbestos because that is part of the housing; I mean state's have to get approval to house inmates two to a cell, why not make them get approval to house them in asbestos riddled cells; might go a long way to discouraging return engagements!
