Joe, you're harsh about the wife. I'll take mine with me because she's a great shot! But I agree that guns are a part of the priority for me. This is the first I heard of martial law too after Katrina. When and how was this enforced when you had residents shooting at the NOPD causing many to quit? Look at the sad case of the young officer killed the other day with her own gun? She was 8 weeks pregnant. There needs to be better patrols with or without the catastrophe in NOLA or any where else. As an American I have the right to bear arms and I did when I evacuated AND when I visit.
