I'm no math whiz, but if you do some simple algebra, for 185,048 motorcycles in 2007, and based on 69 deaths for 98,252 motorcycles in 1998, (when there was a helmet law), you would expect 130 fatal accidents. Doesn't seem like it would make a difference.
